Homes to commercial

From a single garden wall to a full home, or a commercial and industrial build. The standard does not change.

FAQ

Common questions

How much does bricklaying cost in Melbourne?

It depends on the job: the brick or block you choose, access to the site, the height and complexity, and how much setting out and footing work is involved. Bricklaying is usually priced per thousand bricks laid, or as a fixed price for the whole job. The honest way to get a real number is a site look and a written quote, which we do for free.

Do you take on small jobs, or only full builds?

Both. We lay everything from a single garden wall, letterbox or repair through to full house brickwork, second storeys and commercial work. The standard does not change with the size of the job.

Which parts of Melbourne do you cover?

Across Melbourne, from the inner east and bayside through the inner north, out to the western growth suburbs and the south east, down the Mornington Peninsula, and across to Geelong and the regional fringe. If you are nearby, just ask.

Can you match the brick on an extension or repair?

In most cases, yes. Matching brick and mortar is part of the trade. We source the closest brick available and mix the mortar to suit, so an extension or repair blends with the original rather than standing out. On heritage work we tuckpoint and repoint to match the existing joints.

Do you work with builders and developers, or just homeowners?

All three. Homeowners hire us direct, and builders and developers bring us in on contract for new homes, commercial and industrial work. We work in with your program and the other trades, and leave brickwork that passes inspection.

Are you insured?

Yes. We carry insurance for residential and commercial work across Victoria, and we are happy to provide our details before a job starts.

How do I get a quote?

Send through the details of your job with the quote form, or give us a call. For anything beyond a small repair we will usually come and look at the site, then send a written quote with a fair, fixed price.
